The Tunis Stock Exchange (BVMT) reports that the four insurers listed on the stock exchange have recorded a 6.5% turnover increase in 2021. The total written premiums went from 851.907 million TND (314.334 million USD) as of 31 December 2020 to 906.96 million TND (314.742 million USD) one year later.
Tunis Re, also listed on the stock exchange, posted, on the other hand, a turnover of 153.207 million TND (53.167 million USD) in 2021, which is 3.2% lower than at the end of 2020.
