Two new appointments at CCR Re

CCR Re, CCR's reinsurance subsidiary, is making two new appointments within its Underwriting and Services department.

Yamilet Morote, 49, has been appointed Credit Underwriter Guarantor in the Specialties & Global Risks department.

A graduate of the ESC Lille School of Management, Y. Morote began her career in 1996 as a junior Credit Analyst with Banex Bank in Peru. She has also held several positions with Total E&P, PSA Peugeot Citroën, GE Transportation, Caterpillar Financial, and with the credit insurer CESCE. In 2016, Y. Morote became Senior Surety Underwriter at QBE Insurance Europe.

Mehdi Tariq has joined the French reinsurer as Life Actuary Underwriter for the Middle East and North Africa region.

Aged 25, M. Tariq, who began his career at SCOR, holds a Master 1 in applied mathematics an a Master 2 in actuarial science from the University of Paris-Dauphine. He is also an associate member of the Institute of Actuaries.
