The new CNMA strategy is profitable

A year ago, the Caisse Nationale de Mutualité Agricole (CNMA) established a new development strategy. The company was deeply reorganized with a view to achieving ambitious objectives in a competitive environment.

The change introduced was also designed to better anticipate customer needs. Thanks to this new approach, the insurer managed, in 2014, to report 476.5 million DZD (5.45 million USD) in profits, almost four times as much as in 2013.

The turnover reached 11.2 billion DZD (128 million USD), compared to 9.6 billion DZD (110 million USD) in 2013. Nonetheless, CNMA remains the leader of agricultural insurance with 78% of premiums collected by this class of business in 2014.
