The head office of a company may be decisive

According to Martin Albers, a member of Swiss Re's executive board, the site of the headquarters of an insurance company is critical. This choice conveys what he defines as "the global brand" of the company which relies on the "economic substance" of each country and on "the quality of regulation and corporate values." He is joined by Henry Keeling, head of international operations at Guy Carpenter, which highlights "the environment conducive to innovation and investment", to "take advantage of future opportunities." The world's leading insurance markets remain Bermuda, London and Zurich.
