Standard & Poor’s has upgraded Salama’s and Best Re’s rating by a notch

The rating agency has raised from BBB+ to A- the financial soundness and long-term credit rating of Islamic Arab Insurance (Salama) and its subsidiaries Best Re (L) and Best Re Family, with stable outlooks. Standard & Poor’s has underscored the reinsurer’s strong capitalization, its good position on the market and its underwriting performance.
