Special Women, Rosalie Logon, general manager of Atlantique Assurance

Rosalie Logon’s entire life has revolved around insurance. After law studies in Abidjan, she moved to France, where she received in 1988 a degree from the advanced institute of insurance in Lyon (France).

Back in Abidjan, she joined the Union Africaine des Assurances IARD, which later became Axa Côte d’Ivoire. Hired in 1989, she would leave the French group only in 2006 after having climbed the career ladder, ending up in the position of member of the executive committee and head of brokerage and agency division.

After having spent 17 years with Axa Abidjan, she joined in September 2006, the group Atlantique where she was obviously entrusted with the commercial department.
The group Atlantique then controlled two non life companies: Mutuelle Centrale d'Assurances (MCA) and Mutuelle Agricole de Côte d’Ivoire (MACI).

Faced with the challenges encountered by the market, the group eventually merged the portfolios of the two companies into a single entity called Atlantique Assurances of which R. Logon became the general manager in January 2009.

Knight of the Order of Agricultural Merit of Côte d’Ivoire, Rosalie Logon has, since February 2009, become member of the executive board of the association of Ivorian insurance companies (ASACI). She is in charge of overseeing the health commission and companies brokers relationships.
