SAAR, the 2008 results

The Cameroonian Insurance and Reinsurance Company (SAAR) has posted a decrease of its 2008 turnover. The written premiums amount to 9.454 billion FCFA (20.808 million USD) compared to 10. 003 billion FCFA (22. 896 million USD) in 2007, that is, a 5.49% decrease.

The company has, however, reported a 16% increase of its net profits which attained 648 million FCFA (1. 426 million USD) in 2008 compared to 558 million FCFA (1. 277 million USD) a year before.
