Qatar Insurance Company obtains an A rating from S&P and AM Best

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) and its main subsidiary companies have been awarded an «A» rating by S & P and an «a» rating from AM Best. It, therefore, becomes one of the Arab insurance companies best rated jointly by both agencies. By holding about 50% of the market shares, QIC dominates the Qatari insurance business.
A.M. Best has justified this rating by the excellent level of capital risk and by the insurer’s good financial flexibility. Its strong diversification and underwriting performances have also been highlighted.
