Premiums of life insurance, 41% growth in 2013

The latest figures published by the Insurance Commission show an evolution of 41% of the life insurance sector in 2013, the collected premiums reached an amount of 3.82 billion USD.

According to Emmanuel Dooc, the Insurance Commissioner, this result is supported by the country's economic growth and could have been better without the downturn in the insurance industry caused by the super typhoon Haiyan.
