Over 13 000 new jobs in the insurance sector in 2018

According to recruitment firm Michael Page, the insurance sector is poised to hire more than 13 000 new employees in 2018. Recruiters favor three areas: new information technologies, risk management and conformity. Salesmen also stand among most sought profiles.

Axa has created 5 400 new posts during 2018. The mutual insurance group Covéa, on its part, is intent on hiring 2 000 staff members while 1 000 positions have opened up at Macif, 555 at Swiss Life and 342 at Cardif, a subsidiary of the banking group BNP Paribas.
