Oman Re: Results as at 30 September 2018

Oman Re has published its results as at 30 September 2018. Despite a difficult environment, the Omani reinsurer managed to diversify its portfolio to reach gross premiums worth 20.2 million OMR (52.4 million USD) for the first nine months of the year against 10.6 million OMR (27.5 million USD) during the same period of 2017. The combined ratio amounted to 91%, improving by 13.1 points.

The profit increased by 396.2% at 363 700 OMR (942 000 USD) against 73 300 OMR (190 400 USD) at the same period of 2017.
