Non-life insurance, occupational risks are profitable

The 2013 barometer of non-life insurance published by Facts and Figures firm has found that in this class of business, occupational risks support the business and are more profitable than personal lines risks.
These risks account for 30% of total premium income in non-life insurance in 2011 and for 71% of the technical results. Personal lines insurance has reported a turnover of 32.715 billion EUR (42.366 billion USD) for a technical result of 752 million EUR (974 million USD).
