New legislations

The Egyptian authorities will soon publish three laws governing microfinance, private pensions and private health insurance. The first one is designed to regulate the establishment of companies offering microinsurance products. It will be promulgated in three months' time. The law pertaining to private pensions will be submitted to the parliament in the course of 2010, a little later to the publication of another law regarding the institution of a pension system for all Egyptians. Finally, a law codifying private health insurance will be introduced to the parliament at the end of 2010.
