Metropolitan Holdings will open offices in Ghana and in Kenya

The South African life insurer Metropolitan Holdings has announced the imminent opening of offices in Ghana and Kenya and the prospect of new business opportunities in Nigeria. This extension, which should complete its activities in Namibia, Botswana, and in Lesotho, comes in a contrast of heated competition in the region with the Sanlam group which has just bought out African Life Insurance (Aflife).
