Mapfre Re opens office in Paris

The group Mapfre Re has opened an office in Paris near the Louvre museum. The Spanish reinsurer will perform life reinsurance, health and accident. This is the seventh office of the company in Europe after Athens, Brussels, Lisbon, London, Madrid and Milan. Mapfre Re has posted a turnover up by 15.5% in 2010 at 2.3 billion EUR (3.048 billion USD).
