Insurance Europe: protection of insurance consumers

The European insurance and reinsurance federation "Insurance Europe" published on 4 December 2019 a document intended for the Union' countries' policy makers. The objective is to better protect the consumers.

The 37 countries concerned are called upon to avoid frequent changes to the regulations, ensure better legal certainty, rule out any inconsistencies or risks that could mislead the consumer.

They are also asked to remove any barriers and obstacles to innovation while extending the deadlines for the implementation of texts and reforms.
