FANAF paid 5 billion USD for the benefit of its member countries

Adama N'diaye, President of the Fédération des Sociétés d’Assurances de Droit National Africaines (FANAF), announced in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 40th General Assembly of the FANAF, that during its 40 years of existence, the Federation has paid 3 000 billion FCFA ( 5 billion USD) for the benefit of the economies of its member countries.

He added: "The Federation is currently achieving, on average, a turnover of 1 500 billion FCFA (2.5 billion USD) per year".

Founded in 1974 in Dakar (Senegal), FANAF includes 194 insurance and reinsurance companies operating in 29 countries of Central and West Africa.
