Equity funds interested by local investments

Renowned equity funds along with sovereign funds are showing growing interest in local insurers. That is the case of Soros Funds Management and Flagstone Reinsurance that have joined the German sovereign funds KFW and the Dutch FMO in order to have shares in the local insurance companies. Leapfrog, the microinsurance specialist, will coordinate these investments.
