Creation of an aviation consortium by the Lloyd's Asia

Catlin Group, a member of the Asian branch of Lloyd's, has announced the formation of a consortium to underwrite aviation risks in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.

The new consortium, called General Aviation Consortium is composed of Catlin Group, Amlin Singapore, Singapore Talbot and Argoglobal Underwriting Asia Pacific, which take respectively, 45%, 25%, 20% and 10% of the insured risk.

The hull risk and the TPL will be covered up to 15 and 150 million USD by the consortium.
