Covid-19: Russia's Sputnik V vaccine is 95% effective

Based on preliminary results, the Gamaleïa research center in Moscow announced that the Covid-19 vaccine “Sputnik V” is 95% effective. The dose will cost less than 10 USD and the vaccination shall be free of charge for Russians.

Although the vaccine has reached phase III of clinical trials after having been administered to 40 000 volunteers, its scientific paper remains incomplete.

Nevertheless, Sputnik V developers promise that the scientific data shall soon be published in an international medical journal and evaluated by scientists.
