Boeing: Poor IT security

BoeingOn November 5, 2019, CSO Online, a magazine specializing in IT security, has published an article on the deficiencies of Boeing's information systems. The Amercian giant is well below the standards when it comes to cybersecurity.

During the Aviation Cyber Security Conference held on November 5-6 in London, security researcher Chris Kubecka explained the weaknesses of Boeing's IT system. Security failures have been identified at its sites, networks and software, creating a threat to its customers, civilian passenger aircraft as well as warplanes.

C. Kubecka has also warned that one of Boeing's servers is infected with viruses and that codes installed on civilian and military aircrafts can be easily hacked.
