AXA to acquire Aviva France

AXA logoAfter Allianz, Generali, Groupama and Macif, it is AXA Group's turn to take an interest in the acquisition of Aviva France. During a videoconference meeting held on 9 December 2020 by the National Association of Insurance Journalists (Anja), the CEO of AXA France, Jacques de Peretti, announced that the group is considering the possibility of buying out the British group's French subsidiary, which is currently being refocused.

No further comments were made by the French insurer.
