AXA sells its activities in Greece

AXAAXA has sold its life, savings and P&C activities in Greece to the Italian group Generali. The transaction, which is expected to be completed in H2 2021, was valued at 165 million EUR (202.66 million USD) and is yet to be approved by the regulatory authorities.

The sale of AXA Grèce is part of the French group's strategy of simplification. In 2019, AXA Grèce recorded a turnover of 168 million EUR (188.137 million USD).

The company’s result during the same period amounted to 15 million EUR (16.8 million USD).
