Axa is marketing life insurance

The CIMA license obtained in December 2015, has enabled Axa insurer to set up a subsidiary insurance company called Axa Côte d’Ivoire Vie.

The country is undergoing a strong growth which is beneficial to the insurance business. With a global turnover of 470 million USD, Côte d’Ivoire is CIMA zone’s most important market.

Axa is planning to position itself on pension and bancassurance classes as a top priority.

Axa is also targeting microinsurance. Roger Boa Johnson, current chief executive officer of Axa Côte d’Ivoire, will also take over the new entity. He will be assisted by Teyi Lawson.
