Allianz France: promotion of Fabien Wathlé

Fabien WathléFabien Wathlé has been promoted General Manager of Allianz France. This decision shall take effect on 1 January 2021.

A graduate of the Robert Schuman University (Starsbourg III), Fabien Wathlé began his career in 1984 as Head of the Financial Markets at Crédit Agricole of Alsace. In 1995, he joined Swiss Life France as CEO of Swiss Life Asset Management.

In 2007, he became CEO of Swiss Life Banque Privée and a member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Life France. In 2010, F. Wathlé joined Allianz France, where he has held several management positions over the past 10 years, the most recent of which is Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The newly promoted executive will report to Sergio Balbinot, a member of the Allianz SE Board of Management in charge of insurance activities for Western and Southern Europe and Asia-Pacific.
