United Insurance has achieved record profit

United Insurance has posted an after-tax profit worth 59.87 million ETB (3.164 million USD) in 2012/ 2013. This results represents a 65% growth compared to the previous year, a performance made possible thanks to a directive of the central bank requiring immediate payment of insurance premiums during the underwriting of policies.

This directive has also increased the liquidity of companies with technical result improving by 52% at 80.1 million ETB (4.233 million USD).
