The Tunisian motor market retrospective

For 2005, the Tunisian car fleet amounts to 1 166 947 vehicles, that is, a 4.8% increase in comparison with the year 2004.

While the number of road accidents remains stable at 11 000, the number of people killed on the roads is slightly lower at 1 519 whereas the number of injured people at 15 368 is rising in comparison with the previous year.
