The Swiss insurance industry is running short of qualified staff. By June 9, 2014, the sector reported 1219 vacancies, 117 of which pertain to executive positions.
These data, which is comparable to those of last year, confirm that this is a recurring phenomenon for several years. The lack of qualified workforce has also affected the banking sector that is in need of over 1 338 employees, an increase of 16% in one year.
