Risk mapping 2022: cybercrime takes the lead

France Assureurs has published the 5^th edition of the industry's risk mapping.

Cyber attacks rank first for the fifth year in a row. The increase in cybercrime is linked to the significant rise in ransomware in France.

Climate change and the risk of extraordinary natural disasters come in second and third place. This is due to the serious flooding in Germany and Belgium in 2021.

Epidemic risk has dropped by seven places compared to 2021. Implementation of safety measures and the rapid production of vaccines have reduced the severity of this risk.
