Restructuring plan of STAR

In an interview to a bi-monthly magazine, Abdelkrim Merdassi, Chief Executive Officer of the company unveiled details as to the reconstruction of the Tunisian Company of Insurance and Reinsurance (STAR).
Having set up the management and human resources aspects, STAR has indulged in the financial part of its restructuring which should culminate in tripling its capital, currently set at 15 million TND (11 million USD).
In order to achieve this plan during 2006, STAR is seeking a strategic partner deemed to become its major stakeholder.
