A project of convergence between SCOR and AXA Re

The two big French reinsurers SCOR and AXA Re are examining again the possibility of a merger. SCOR, which has taken up growth and regained its rate “A-“, plans to buy out AXA Re whose 2005 turnover has reached 1.4 billion EUR (1.7 billion USD).
