The Algerian insurance market has reported the birth of a new insurance company, the Algerian Gulf Life Insurance Company, resulting from a partnership between the National Bank of Algeria, the Kuwaiti insurer Gulf Insurance Company and CASH.
The company will be marketing life insurance policies. Eight insurers are now operating in that class of business. Brokerage Companies NNHBB Assurances and Diligence Assurance Courtage have also obtained license to practice in Algeria.
