Measures to reduce fraud in motor insurance

One of the priority measures endorsed by MEDA regards the refund of motor material damage. The new procedures, henceforth, stipulate that motor insured-clients produce evidence justifying the car's repair expenses or have repairs made by a registered mechanic. Such measures, which will come into force during the course of the year, should lead to a reduction in frauds whose amount is currently estimated at 400 million DZD (5.5 million USD).
