Lloyd's filed an application for license

Lloyd's announced the upcoming filing of an application for license in Malaysia, a move that will enable them to set up a local subsidiary.

The new entity will benefit from the market growth to expand in marine, energy, engineering and third party liability classes of business.
Lloyd's are currently underwriting business in Malaysia from offices in London, Singapore and Labuan.
