Liquidation of Saxum Insurance

The Johannesburg High Court has began the process of liquidation of Saxum Insurance for insolvency.
This decision was adopted on 12 October 2016.

Since September 8, 2016, the South African insurer has already been prohibited from underwriting new non life insurance business.

Its bankruptcy would be due to a significant depreciation of its assets and a significant increase in motor claims.
