Life insurance coverage for Ethiopian healthcare professionals

Following an agreement with the government, Ethiopian Insurance Corporation is to establish a life insurance policy for employees of the medical sector.

The coverage, the amount of which has not been revealed, will be allocated to staff in direct contact with COVID-19 patients.

The objective of this agreement is to support the health sector in its fight against the coronavirus.
