Libano-Arabe (LIA): 2014 Net profit down

Libano-Arabe (LIA) publishes the results of the year 2014. The figures show a net profit of 14 million USD, falling by 15.1% compared to 2013, an exercise closed with a gain of 16.5 million USD.

During the past year, the Lebanese company generated a turnover of 96.1 million USD, increasing by 8.6% compared to that recorded in 2013.

The portfolio is dominated by non-life business totaling 55.8 million USD in premiums, an increase of 16.8% compared to 2013. With 40.3 million USD, life premiums fell by 2.6% over 12 months.
