Le marché algérien est de nouveau ouvert aux compagnies françaises

The recent visit by President Sarkozy in Algeria has allowed to strike an agreement for the settlement of a dispute between the two countries over the thorny issue of insurance which dates back to the1960s. Concluded following a long and strenuous process of negotiations, the deal is likely to open the Algerian market to the French companies. AXA would be already candidate for the takeover of CAAR whose privatisation is due in 2008.
