job cuts in prudential

Ranking as the country's second life insurer, the group Prudential which has reported 874 million GBP (1.712 billion USD) in net profits in 2006 has announced a redundancy plan of 3000 jobs which is due to yield 115 to 195 million GBP (225 to 382 million USD) in savings over the three-year period to come.
