Increasing motor insurance tariffs

Following the measures taken by the Association des Sociétés d'Assurance du Cameroun (ASAC) in view of a stricter implementation of the tariff regulations, the price of motor insurance policies has abruptly doubled as of August 1, 2006. This move has triggered some bustling especially among taxi owners who have announced their decision to go on strike.
