Health insurance premium payment in instalments

The Indian regulatory authority IRDAI has called on insurers to propose health premium payment in instalments to the insured.

Customers will be able to pay their premiums on a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual basis. The objective is to support the insured who are facing a liquidity shortage during the pandemic.
