GulfCap Investments into takaful insurance

GulfCap Investments, the main shareholder of Gulf African and Bank of Kenya has established an islamic insurance company. Named Gulf Takaful Company, the new entity will be dotted with a capital of 12.4 million USD. It will be operating in non-life insurance. The start of operations is planned within the next six months.
