The Ghanaian insurance market commits to fighting COVID-19

The National Insurance Commission (NIC), in collaboration with the Ghana Insurers Association (GIA), the Insurance Brokers' Association of Ghana (IBAG), the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) along with other stakeholders, is committed to battling the Coronavirus.

An amount of 1.105 million GHC (192 000 USD) has been donated to the COVID-19 Trust fund to help fight the virus. Up to now, Ghana has recorded 1042 positive cases and 9 fatalities.
