Gareat, evolution of reinsurance rates

The French pool for the reinsurance of risks pertaining to attacks and acts of terrorism (Gareat) has revised its rates, a change requested by the association for risk and corporate insurance management (AMRAE). The new rate grid is scheduled to come into effect as of January 1, 2014. According to AMRAE, this change is likely to maximize business revenues while maintaining the guarantees offered.
