Gabonese insurers to support COVID-19 victims

The Gabonese Federation of Insurance Companies (FEGASA) along with the federation of insurance brokers are supporting the government’s efforts in its fight against Coronavirus.

On 4 May 2020, the president of FEGASA, Andrew Gwodog, signed a cheque of 100 million FCFA (167 282 USD) to the Minister of Economy and Finance as a contribution to the National Solidarity Fund COVID-19.

In addition, the FEGASA president stated that an operational loss insurance product without material damage, is to be considered.
