Fire in a petrochemical area in Algeria

The explosion of a gas pipeline, on the night of 1 July, caused a huge fire in the industrial area of Arzew. The spectacular flames originated at the liquefied natural gas facility (LNG1). Arzew is Algeria's main natural gas processing plant before it is commercialized by LNG tankers.
