Establishment of a new company, Coris Assurances

Coris Assurances has obtained license from the authorities in December 2010 and began its underwriting activities on March 1, 2011. Owned in majority by Coris Bank, the new insurer has a paid up capital of 1 billion FCFA (2.1 million USD). The chairman of the company is Idrissa Nassa and its general manager is Solange Kere.
