Establishment, in July 2006, of a regulatory body in charge of the insurance sector

During the 20^th annual conference of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK), the authorities have announced the setting up, as of the month of July 2006, a regulatory body in charge of the insurance business. This measure aims at making the business more ethical and defending the insured's interests.
