Egypt: Supervision of the insurance sector

During the first six months of 2017, the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) carried out 102 audit operations in the branches of the Egyptian insurance companies. These controls include the technical indicators and the financial position of the audited entities.

FRA said it also controlled 12 brokerage firms and approved 57 reinsurance agreements.
