Draft bancassurance regulation in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Monetary Authority (SAMA) has submitted the draft "Rules Governing Bancassurance Activities" to the market stakeholders for consideration.

The objective is to create an enabling business climate for the proper development of this activity. The regulator believes that this new distribution channel will improve the insurance penetration rate in KSA.
